MOCHA returns to the library, beginning Fall 2025 to offer FREE art workshops at 15 Oakland Public Library branches. Join MOCHA Teaching Artists in these workshops for children and families. At each workshop, the Teaching Artist will present art related to a different theme, building creativity, socio-emotional, and academic skills through painting, drawing, sculpting, and numerous other art forms.

Funding Support

This 2025-2026 school year, in collaboration with our friends at Oakland Public Libraries and made possible from a CA State Library grant, MOCHA is able to offer art workshops at 15 library branches of the Oakland Public Library.
