Apply for a Library Internship
A Community Future School Program

MOCHA is seeking high school aged youth for stipend-supported positions as Library Interns. We are looking for responsible teens with an interest in art and working with youth. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with the visual arts and interacting with children in the community at the Oakland Public Library.
To intern with MOCHA at the Library, you must: Be a High school student, have an Oakland address, be available at the times MOCHA at the Library is in session, and have your parent/caregiver's approval. All interested applicants must submit an application and commit to working a minimum of eight weeks (not necessarily consecutive weeks) during Spring 2023. Anticipated start dates will be January 2023 and March 2023.
Shifts are available Monday-Saturday, during times MOCHA at the Library is in session. These shifts are traditionally during Afterschool hours, with the exception of one session on Saturdays in the early afternoon.
