Akoma Market

The Akoma Market is a farmers market in deep East Oakland that features local Black and brown-owned farm stands, food vendors, family roller skating, community organizations and other small businesses.
The Akoma Market is run and led by a coalition of Black residents, leaders, and organizers with mission to innovate and incubate art, culture, economic development for Black folks in East Oakland.
The Museum of Children's Art is a proud BCZ community partner that hosts an Art Pop Up Program with free hands-on art making and book giveaways at the Akoma Market. Come join us!
Outdoor Play Day
Outdoor Play Day features free family based fun for children and their families: including arts and crafts, face painting, lawn games, family roller skating, community organizations and food vendors.
