Overall Job Description
|
The Museum of Children’s Art operates a children’s art gallery and studio, as well as a number of outreach programs in the schools and community. In combination these programs serve approximately 25,000 children annually. MOCHA currently has several programs that take place in the gallery/studio six days per week. These include the exhibitions, classes, camps, workshops, a field trip program, an open studio program, facility rentals and birthday parties. On Tuesdays through Fridays during the school year, and on Wednesdays during the summer, MOCHA hosts field trips for visiting Bay Area schools and youth groups to come to MOCHA and experience an interactive art lesson. The field trip consists of a gallery tour and a one hour art lesson focusing on the current exhibit or theme. The Field Trip Art Assistant is responsible for:
