    Donate to MOCHA and help us continue to make art a fundamental part of the
     lives of all children.

    Your support helps us maintain our low-and no-cost programming, which reaches more than 20,000 young people and their families every year. More than half of the children we serve come from low-income families with limited access to arts programming. We rely on our donors to support this important work.

    When you join MOCHA's donor family, your tax-deductible gift helps us:

    • Bring in-depth arts learning experiences to more than 70 East Bay schools and child development centers through our school-day and after-school artist residency programs, guided by MOCHA’s expert teaching artists,

    • Engage children and families in hands-on art activities that foster skill-building, creativity and positive interaction, provided at MOCHA through 300 days a year of drop-in programming,

    • Build young children’s pre-literacy and school readiness skills through professionally supervised, developmentally appropriate art activities onsite in our Little Studio, and in the community at 16 low-income preschools,

    • Support, instruct, and mentor teachers in developing arts-based strategies for reaching and inspiring all children in their care,

    • Ensure free admission to view our gallery for all museum visitors,

    • Enrich the lives of children, parents, caregivers and educators throughout Oakland and the East Bay by supporting the arts in our community.
