MOCHA Summer Arts Camp costs
$265 per week if registered by June 1/$275 per week if registered after June 1st
for art instruction, weekly field trips, 2 daily snacks and all materials. $238 for the week of june 30.
Students bring their own lunches.

  • Precare costs $15 per week.
  • Aftercare costs $50 per week.

  • MOCHA Members receive a 10% discount on registration.
    Purchase a membership when you register and receive the discount immediately!
  • When enrolling more than one child from a family, a 10% multi-child discount applies.

Architecture

Build homes and habitats, ranging from animal nests to futuristic space cities, with an emphasis on the artistic elements of sustainable structures and green design.

Cirque de Fantastique

Discover your inner clown. Under the Big Top, design a character costume and bring to life your own circus menagerie for the MOCHA parade.

Gourmet Gallery

Don your apron and chef's hat; it's Edible Art week! Bread sculptures, fruit and spice paints and candy creations are all on the menu.

Out of This World

Launch into a week of sci-fi fun. We’ll build inter-galactic spaceships and create our own fantasy worlds filled with friendly alien life.

Natural Instincts

Get back to your roots when we explore the artistic elements of earth, wind, fire and water. With sticks and stones, shells and bones we will shape eco-art that pleases the eye and the earth.

Lost Civilizations

Dig deep into the past and unearth artistic artifacts from ancient times and fantastic fossils from dinosaur days.
Field trip: Phoebe Hearst Museum/UC Berkeley Paleontology Museum

Amazon Explorers

Venture to the tropics and create exotic birds and flora of the rainforest. Explore the local culture but stay away from the anaconda and piranha!

In Disguise

Protect your secret identity by inventing masks, costumes and super spy apparel. Create cryptic codes, camouflage collages and delightful deceptions.

Puppet Pals

Get behind the stage and learn to create shadow puppets, hand puppets, finger puppets and more. These characters will come alive at our phenomenal puppetry performance.

Prepare for a spooky week of artistic thrills making marvelous monsters and learning tricky techniques to create optical illusions. You won’t believe your eyes!
